Victory of the Lamb - Book of Revelation- Easter Worship Art Series
We have witnessed the victory of the Lamb at the cross and the empty tomb on Easter morning. Jesus, the Lamb of God, was sacrificed for the sins of the world. What looked like defeat was actually an overwhelming victory! The Apostle John witnessed this with his own eyes. Now, years later, Jesus appears to him again to encourage him and all believers to stand firm until the end. The Christian life often looks like defeat. It feels like failure. But Jesus reveals to us how everything will end. Things will get bad, but Jesus wins. And it’s not even close. The Lamb is victorious. Because we are part of his family, his team, through faith, we are victorious too.
The book of Revelation gives us a powerful picture of the victory that is ours through Jesus. The risen Savior gives us courage to boldly share him with others. He inspires thanks, praise, and worship in heaven and on earth. This Lamb is also our Good Shepherd. The Lamb of God is preparing a place for us in heaven where he will take all that is broken in this world and fix it. No more pain, no more tears. He’s making everything new. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords is your king. And friends, he’s coming soon! Come, Lord Jesus. Amen.
This Victory of the Lamb Easter art series is a continuation of Lent Holy Week Series, The Lamb. It is also a series we will be using for an Easter season worship series based on the book of Revelation.
