Windows Open in December

Creative Inspiration It's 30 degrees outside, December in Wisconsin.  I just cracked my kitchen window.  Sometimes I just can't resist letting in the sounds of winter, despite the cold temperatures.  I love the sound of my kids shoveling snow off of the sidewalk to build a snow fort.  The littlest one screeches because she got snow inside her mitten.  Sometimes, at night, I crack the window for a few minutes before bed, just to listen to that particular quiet that only comes after a fresh snow fall.
